LEARNING ENGLISH FOR THOSE WITH REIKI

As well as being a Reiki Master, I am also a trained teacher in English as a Foreign Language, holding a CELTA qualification and with several years’ experience teaching individuals and groups at all levels. Recently it came to light that these two paths could come together in a very harmonious way and I could provide English tuition in a Reiki environment. So let me present you my programme.

THE CLASSES
I am offering small classes and one-to-one intensives of English for foreigners. The material in these classes is designed especially to suit you as Reiki people, using the vocabulary of healing and energy, and concentrating on the spoken aspects of the language for improving communication skills in teaching and learning situations as well in a social environment.

Although I would like the teaching programme to be as flexible as possible to suit each individual or group, it will definitely be a blend of the main skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing with essential grammar input.

LEVELS OF ENGLISH
At this moment, there are two levels being offered, Beginners and Improvers. It is important that you attend a class that is the right level for you. If you are unsure, please ask me.
If you feel that you are of a higher level and need a more challenging class, this also can be arranged.

GROUPS
There will be a maximum of four students in a group.
A typical class will last five days (with a day either side for arrival and departure) and you will receive a total of fifteen hours of tuition, with the possibility of some additional individual hours. You may wish to have a week or two weeks of classes. As far as possible there will be a mix of nationalities.

INDIVIDUALS
This is a chance to receive total immersion one-to-one tuition. We would work concentrating entirely on your particular needs, your strengths and weaknesses in English. You will receive three hours tuition a day with some time for working on your own as well.

As we are all in Reiki, we will be able to support this learning process with Reiki and work together to achieve much greater fluency in English in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.

VENUE AND TRANSPORT
The classes will take place in my home in Hythe, which is on the south east coast of Kent near the channel ports of Folkestone and Dover. It is a small, pleasant seaside town surrounded by countryside. Reaching Hythe is easy if you are travelling by car from the continent. We are a few minutes’ drive from the exit of the Channel Tunnel and very close to Ashford International for Eurostar connections. Transport from the London airports, Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted can easily be arranged.
You can stay in handpicked local families, where you will receive a warm welcome. They will either be people with Reiki or those with a similar background. Staying with local people you have the possibility to benefit from a wide English speaking experience.
Alternatively you can stay in a nearby hotel or bed and breakfast.

Group classes £250 per week (15hrs)
